As an entirely self-run business, I am committed to ensuring that the impact on the environment of Little Stars and Stories is as small as I can make it.

At present, the steps I have taken for sustainability include

- printing my own art prints at home in Oxford using an eco-tank printer where possible, to reduce the amount of printing and travel miles needed. Prints are printed onto acid free Archival Matt card to ensure your print remains bright and bookish!

- Where I am not able to print myself, I use FSC certified recycled papers from companies based in the UK, and am transitioning to an ethically environmentally friendly printers over 2024. I will be using up stock to avoid creating excess wastage before purchasing from the new printers.

- All postage packaging is recycled and/or recyclable with an aim for everything to be both by the end of 2024. Some of the paper packaging for the pins is reused from other orders!

- Art print packaging - the cellophane sleeves used to protect art prints from the elements is compostable and made 100% in the UK. The greyboard that supports the prints is recyclable as are the stickers!

I am learning lots, and aim to constantly improve my offerings and reduce my carbon footprint where I can! In 2024 I plan to re-vamp my packaging to make it even more FSC-certified and environmentally friendly!

Keep shining!
